Your Impact and Responsibilities
As the successful applicant, you will play a vital role in patients’ journeys to optimal oral health. Your skills and expertise will be valued in:
- Delivering comprehensive care and actively developing your implant maintenance skills as this department of the practice grows.
- OHTs will have the opportunity to utilise their full therapy scope for predominantly adult patients.
- Effectively managing your schedule across three dedicated days, ideally Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
- Conducting thorough assessments, including necessary radiographs (bitewings, OPG +/- CBCT), capturing clinical photographs, and collaborating with dentists on diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Providing comprehensive periodontal care, including charting and assessment.
- Delivering and growing specialised treatments – taking impressions/scanning, developing in the area of removing ‘all-on-x’ dental bridges and cleaning appliances, and general/complex implant maintenance.
- Utilising quality equipment, including ultrasonic (Piezo), Air Flow, and intraoral cameras. D4W software.
