Dental Hygienist

Seeking a Dental Hygienist for a Growing Hygiene Team

A Dental Hygienist who is genuinely friendly, personable, and passionate about providing exceptional care is sought to join a supportive and growing team.  This is a practice founded on the mission to ensure every patient experiences the best dentistry has to offer in the most caring and comfortable way possible.  The successful candidate will be an integral part of a new hygiene team that is excited to take the hygiene department to new levels of comprehensive care and patient education.

The practice is built on a foundation of integrity, commitment to excellence, growth, and care.  The ideal candidate is a skilled clinician and a dedicated team player, motivated to provide exceptional service and inspired to grow personally and professionally.  While two or more years of experience is preferred, the practice is also open to a new graduate with the right attitude and a desire to learn.

The Position and Expectations
  • Role:  Part-time Dental Hygienist

  • Days:  4 days per week: Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday

  • Hours patients are booked:   9:10 am to 5:30 pm, with extended hours until 7:00 pm on Tuesdays

  • Available Start Date:   September 12th

  • Remuneration:  $50 - $70 per hour, negotiated depending on experience

The successful Hygienist will begin each day with a team huddle and is expected to quote periodontal treatment and book follow-up appointments from the treatment room.  A commitment to excellence is demonstrated by a proactive approach to patient care, from periodontal charting to ensuring instruments are sharpened and rooms are stocked during downtime.  Radiographs (BWS, OPG) are taken as needed, and the role also includes performing some impressions and scanning using Itero and Primescan technology.

What the Practice Offers

This is a workplace where team members are empowered to lead and inspired to grow.  The practice has established systems and processes that ensure a smooth and efficient workflow, enabling the team to focus on delivering exceptional care to a growing patient base of nearly 10,000.  A steri assistant is available to assist as needed, and all necessary equipment is provided, including hand scalers, Air Flow, Ultrasonic Piezo, and 3D scanners.  A uniform is also provided.

The practice is dedicated to clinical excellence, utilising state-of-the-art technology and the latest models of dental chairs to support the highest standard of care, reflecting the unwavering commitment to accountability and purpose that defines the practice.

This is a chance to join a fun team that is redefining what dentistry means for patients and the industry.  The practice is seeking a team member who embodies a desire to learn and grow and is committed to treating every patient with the same level of care they would want for themselves.
