A Dental Hygienist who is genuinely friendly, personable, and passionate about providing exceptional care is sought to join a supportive and growing team. While two or more years of experience is preferred, the practice is also open to a new graduate with the right attitude and a desire to learn.
The Position and Expectations
- Role: Part-time Dental Hygienist
- Days: 4 days per week: Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday
- Hours patients are booked: 9:10 am to 5:30 pm, with extended hours until 7:00 pm on Tuesdays
- Available Start Date: September 12th
- Remuneration: $50 - $70 per hour, negotiated depending on experience
The successful Hygienist will begin each day with a team huddle and is expected to quote periodontal treatment and book follow-up appointments from the treatment room. A commitment to excellence is demonstrated by a proactive approach to patient care, from periodontal charting to ensuring instruments are sharpened and rooms are stocked during downtime. Radiographs (BWS, OPG) are taken as needed, and the role also includes performing some impressions and scanning using Itero and Primescan technology.

A steri assistant is available to assist as needed, and all necessary equipment is provided, including hand scalers, Air Flow, Ultrasonic Piezo, and 3D scanners. A uniform is also provided.
