The Opportunity
An established patient base is already in place: local families seeking general dentistry, aesthetic, and orthodontic care, so there's no book to build from scratch. It's a steady flow of patients rather than an overwhelming queue to work through on day one. The role centres on restorative strength and collaboration, with room to grow into surgical and digital implant work as that side of the practice develops. CBCT, iTero scanning and 3D printing are already part of the everyday workflow, and there's a chance to help shape how digital restorations are designed and produced as that grows.
The clinical approach looks at the whole picture rather than treating tooth by tooth: airway, the oral microbiome, and how the mouth connects to overall health. Curiosity about this way of working matters as much as experience.
What's already in place
CBCT and iTero digital scanning, with 3D printing and AI-assisted treatment planning built into everyday workflow
A growing laser program and microscope-assisted dentistry
Treatment coordinators and a dedicated patient relationship manager handling follow-up and admin, so clinical time stays clinical
A steady flow of well-educated, motivated patients who understand and value thorough diagnostics
The team
Case planning happens as a team. Cases get brought to the table, referred across colleagues, and discussed openly, including in front of patients when it helps them to hear it. Colleagues ask each other questions and offer second opinions as a matter of course.
This is a female-led clinical team, with a regular internal study club for anyone who wants to keep learning alongside the day-to-day work.
What's being looked for
Strong restorative skills, with an open mind about how cases get planned and delivered
Collegiate, and comfortable working closely with a treatment coordinator and the wider clinical team
A strong communicator with patients, still investing in their own continuing education
What's on offer
- Full clinical support already in place
- No weekend work
- Three days a week to start, including Mondays and Fridays, moving to full-time
- A paid settling-in period so both sides can be sure it's the right fit, with expectations made clear from day one
- A practice moving into surgical and digital implant work, with the clinician who joins helping decide how that grows
- Engaged as a contractor (ABN required), with percentage-based remuneration discussed in negotiation.
